My "professional" bio is posted under About Blue Poppy, Authors, Bob Flaws at www.bluepoppy.com. As for my biking bio, my current daily rider is a 2001 Indian Mohave Scout. Prior to building the current Norton rigid, I 've chopped a Kawasaki 750 Vulcan which my son owned. I also own another Norton Commando (1971) basket case which I plan on making into a bobber.
Iam an inaugural member of the Iron Indian Riders Assoc. of which I was also a past Tribal Council Member and President. In addition, I'm a member of Colorado Abate (District 13), the AMA, MRF, Norton Colorado, and C.O.B.B.
As a young man, I was a jeweler in NYC, and I still do some occasional jewelry-making. However, this love of/intertest in jewelry-making has carried over into knife-making, metal scultping, and bike-building.
I guess that's about it.
